We are  champions for the Real Living Wage in the care sector

Seniors Helping Seniors values lived and learned skills and offers enjoyable, flexible, local work that pays above the Real Living Wage as well as outstanding peer to peer care for clients.

What is the current real living wage? As of March 2023 The real Living Wage is £10.42 per hour across the UK. Seniors helping Seniors has paid above the real living wage from day one. Each Seniors Helping Seniors office decides their own rates of pay and every UK office pays above the Living Wage.  When the Living Wage increase was announced in November 2022 partners unanimously increased their wage to lead the way in Care. As an example,

Canterbury/Thanet Office pays an hourly rate of £11 and we pay holiday pay on top taking the hourly rate to £12.33 and there are increases for unsociable hours. Qualified carers are paid more, and in line with their skills.
