The British Franchise Association is an important organisation because it vouches for franchisors’ processes. When a franchise invests in membership ,the franchise partners have assurances and services.

The BFA profiled one of our partners for paying a premium for an existing territory.

Tim Heaney gained insight into the workings of two care companies.

Tim worked for Seniors Helping Seniors and Home Instead care teams in Guildford to get to know the companies from the inside out.

Tim’s career before caring was international retail. He says he recognised the client-first approach of high-end retail in Seniors Helping Seniors and said

The approach Seniors Helping Seniors has to both carers and the service it offers to clients, stood head and shoulders above anything else I have ever seen.”

The seller of the franchise, Andy Boothman , explains “It’s an incredible accolade for me and the brand that a carer who worked with us, wanted to invest.  Tim obviously knows the operation inside out.”

Tim says “the team is amazing, and I was inspired by the growth potential. I have an opportunity to pool all my professional experiences, work for my own success doing something immensely worthwhile within an ambitious and fun team. The training was five star and I know which levers to pull to take the business where I want to take it.  I am already seeing the results.”

Christian WIlse says, “Tim comes on board when our CQC registration provides new options for our franchisees.  None of our businesses are obliged to provide regulated care services because the brand specialises in companionship care but we’re excited to see who follows the lead into personal care services!”
